Programs
Crescent Montessori School offers programs for children ages 2-5 in the Primary Class, ages 5-7 in the Junior Elementary Class, ages 8-11 in the Senior Elementary Class, and ages 12-14 in the Middle School Class.
Our classes are organized as mixed-age group settings — a tradition in Montessori schools. The social groups provide for peer teaching, role models, collaborative practice and leadership experience. A meaningful sense of community is enhanced within each classroom.
The daily schedule allows students to have focused periods of time in which to concentrate on tasks and activities. We make a priority of maximizing uninterrupted blocks of time.
Everything in the classroom environment is designed to meet the developmental needs and interests of the children. There is no limit to what children can learn and they are able to advance through the curriculum as they are ready, without limit.
