Admissions
Our goal in the enrollment process is to create a good match between the school and family.
The enrollment process has four main steps:
- Tour the school
- Submit application(s)
- Schedule a student visit
- Enrollment decision and registration
Schedule a School Tour
You are warmly invited to tour our school and spend time in our classrooms. Seeing students at work and getting a feel for the school is an important part of the admissions process.
Tours are for parents not accompanied by their children. Tours begin at 9:00 AM in room 203 and last 45 minutes. Reserve your tour space by calling 707-996-2456 or by emailing Dulce Silvi at dsilvi.

Submit an Application
Your tour packet includes an application for your child(ren) and directions for submitting an application for financial aid.
Applications for enrollment are due February 1st, or the first weekday after February 1st. Financial aid applications are due at the same time.
Enrollment notifications are sent on or around March 1st.
For enrollment in the current school year only, applications are accepted on a rolling basis. Applicants for the current school year follow the same admissions process, and enrollment notifications are given shortly after completion of the process.
Once the school office receives your application and fee we will contact you to schedule your child’s visit. If the program you desire is full, we maintain a wait pool, and fill spaces based on the order we receive applications. Preference is given to siblings of currently enrolled students and alumni.
Introduce Your Child to the Teacher
Upon receipt of your application, we schedule a visit for you and your child to meet their teacher. This interview gives us a chance to learn more about you and your child and to help determine if Crescent Montessori is the right fit. For preschool-age children, the visit also aids in class placement.
Elementary and Middle School students are then invited to spend a half day in the classroom. Primary students meet one-on-one with the teacher for about half of an hour. If a young child is not quite ready to start school, his/her application will be added to our wait pool.
Registration and Enrollment
After careful review and reflection, the school will notify you regarding enrollment. Enrollment notifications are sent on or around March 1st. Once the teacher has invited the student to join the class, parents are given the registration form to complete. Submitting the registration form and fee then secures your child’s space in the program.
All children are warmly welcomed to Crescent Montessori School.
We value diversity of nationality, ethnic origin, race, color and religion.
